Daily Routine in Simple Present Tense

The simple present tense is used for things we do regularly. Here’s how to use it with regular verbs:

1. Changing Regular Verbs:

  • Use the base form of the verb for I, you, we, they.
  • For he, she, it, add “-s” or “-es” to the verb.

Examples:

  • I walk to school.
  • You play soccer.
  • He watches TV.
  • She cooks dinner.
  • It rains a lot.

2. How to Make Sentences:

  • Affirmative: Subject + verb (+ s/es for he/she/it).
  • Negative: Subject + do/does + not + verb.
    • Example: I do not eat breakfast.
  • Question: Do/Does + subject + verb?
    • Example: Does she go to the gym?

Sample Daily Routine:

  • I wake up at 7 AM.
  • He gets dressed.
  • We have breakfast together.
  • They study English at school.
  • She climbs the stairs.
