By=Ax+CBy = -Ax + C

3. Divide by BB:

Next, divide everything by BB to get yy by itself:
y=ABx+CBy = -\frac{A}{B}x + \frac{C}{B}

Now you have the slope-intercept form, which looks like this:
y=mx+by = mx + b
In this case, m=ABm = -\frac{A}{B} (which is the slope) and b=CBb = \frac{C}{B} (which is the y-intercept).

4. Interpret:
