How Does Human Activity Affect Genetic Mutations in Nature?

Humans have a big effect on genetic mutations in animals and plants. This often makes things harder for nature to work as it should and can threaten the variety of life on Earth.

    • For example, pollution can make mutation rates go up, causing problems that can hurt species or even drive them to extinction.
  3. Climate Change:

    • Climate change caused by people is making environments change faster than many species can handle.
    • Those that can't adapt quickly enough risk dying out, which messes with how evolution usually works.
