Games and interactive tools are fun, but they can have a hard time teaching whole numbers and place value to Year 1 students.

To fix these problems, we can do a few things:

3. Include simple tests to check if kids understand whole numbers and place value, like knowing that in the number 234, the '2' stands for 200.

When we put thought into designing games, they can become helpful learning tools instead of just distractions.
