How Can You Create a Narrative Arc in Your Public Speaking?

Creating a great story in your speeches can really grab your audience's attention! Here’s what I’ve found out:

  1. Start with a Hook: Begin with a fascinating story or a surprising question to catch their interest.

  2. Build Tension: Talk about a problem or challenge. This gets people emotionally involved.

  3. Climax: This is the most exciting part. Share your important message or idea here.

  4. Resolution: End the story by showing how the problem was solved.

  5. Call to Action: Encourage your audience to think or do something after hearing your story.

When you tell stories well, your message becomes easier to understand, and it sticks with people. Remember, we connect and relate to each other through stories!
