How to Calibrate Your Food Thermometer

Calibrating your food thermometer is easy! Just follow these simple steps:

1. Ice Water Method:

   • Take a glass and fill it with ice.
   • Pour cold water over the ice and let it sit for a few minutes.
   • Place the thermometer in the glass.
   • It should show 32°F (0°C).

2. Boiling Water Method:

   • Boil some water in a pot.
   • Once it’s boiling, put the thermometer in the water.
   • It should read 212°F (100°C) if you’re at sea level.

If the readings are not right, check the instructions that came with your thermometer to adjust it.
