  1. Spectroscopy:
    • This method breaks light into different colors or wavelengths using tools like prisms or special patterns called diffraction gratings.
    • By looking at the patterns created, including things like wavelength and brightness, scientists can figure out the frequencies of the electromagnetic waves.
