How Do You Identify Weaknesses in Your Current Goal-Setting Strategy?

Finding weaknesses in how I set my goals can really help me improve. Here’s how I do it:

  1. Think About Past Goals: I look back at what I wanted to achieve. Did I reach my goals? If not, I ask myself why. Sometimes, it could just be that the timing was off, or the goals were too big for what I can handle right now.

  2. Ask for Feedback: I’ve learned that asking friends or mentors what they think can open my eyes. They might notice things I didn’t, which helps me make my plan better.

  3. Keep Track of My Progress: I use a journal or apps to see how I’m doing. If I start to feel less motivated or my work slows down, that’s a sign I might need to change my approach.

  4. Make Changes Often: I believe it’s important to be flexible. My goals should change as I grow. If something isn’t working—whether it’s the goal or how I’m trying to achieve it—I’m willing to change it.

Being aware of these changes has really helped me grow as a person!
