  • Energy Changes: For example, when a ball rolls down a hill, its potential energy (when it’s at the top) changes into kinetic energy as it speeds up.

The Law of Conservation of Energy tells us that energy doesn't just vanish. Even when it changes forms, the amount of energy stays the same.

So, when you push a box, the energy you use moves through the system like this:

Total Energy Before = Total Energy After
