Heron’s Formula is a great way to find the area of any triangle.

You don’t even need to know the height of the triangle! Instead, all you need are the lengths of the three sides.

Here’s how to use it:

1. Find the semi-perimeter:

   • First, add up the lengths of all three sides.
   • Then, divide that number by 2.
   • We can call this number (s).
   • So, we do this: (s = \frac{a + b + c}{2}), where (a), (b), and (c) are the lengths of the sides.

2. Area formula:

   • Once you have (s), you can find the area ((A)) of the triangle using this formula:
   • $A = \sqrt{s(s-a)(s-b)(s-c)}$.

This method is really useful, especially when you can't easily find the height of the triangle!
