Instead of saying, “I should work on my project,” I say, “I will work on my project from 2 PM to 4 PM.” This helps my brain know when to focus, making distractions easier to ignore.

When I give set times for tasks, I feel more committed to them. Knowing I have an hour to focus on something really motivates me to start.
