Everyday Examples:

1. Roller Coasters:

   • When the train is at the highest point, it has the most potential energy (PE).
   • Potential energy depends on weight and height.
   • As the coaster goes down, that potential energy turns into kinetic energy (KE), which is the energy of motion.

2. Hydroelectric Plants:

   • In these plants, water falls from a height. This change gives the water potential energy.
   • The falling water then turns into kinetic energy, which is used to create electrical energy.
   • These plants can convert about 90% of that energy into electricity.

3. Bicycle:

   • When you pedal a bike, the energy from your legs turns into kinetic energy.
   • This shows how energy changes form when you're in motion.
