How Will Artificial Intelligence Redefine Job Markets in the Next Decade?

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is going to change the job market a lot in the next ten years.

According to the World Economic Forum, by 2025, AI might replace 85 million jobs, but it will also create 97 million new ones. This means there will be an extra 12 million jobs around the world!

Here are some of the key areas where AI will make a big difference:

  1. Automation of Routine Tasks:

    • Experts believe that about 60% of jobs could have one-third of their tasks done by AI. This means that machines could take over some of the work we do every day.
  2. New Job Roles:

    • Some industries, like health care and data analysis, are going to need more workers. There will be new roles such as AI ethics compliance managers and data scientists that will become very important.
  3. Changing Skills:

    • To keep up with these changes, workers will need new skills like machine learning, programming, and data analysis. In fact, LinkedIn says that 54% of employees will need to learn new skills by 2022.

In short, AI will require workers to be flexible and ready to keep learning new things.
