Is Physicalism Sufficient to Account for the Qualia of Conscious Experience?

I believe Physicalism, which is a way of understanding our minds, doesn't fully cover qualia. Qualia are those personal feelings we have about experiences, like what it's really like to feel pain or joy.

  • Understanding Qualia: Physicalism can tell us a lot about how our brains work, but it has a hard time explaining our feelings.

  • Personal Experience vs. Physical Facts: Our experiences are very personal and don’t always fit into a simple scientific explanation.

  • The Knowledge Gap: This gap in understanding opens the door for ideas that say there's more to being conscious than just the physical parts of our brain.

I think we need a different approach that combines these ideas to truly understand what conscious experience means.
