Hodgkin's lymphoma and Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma are two different types of lymphoma. They each have unique characteristics that help doctors identify them.

Hodgkin's Lymphoma:

• It has special cells called Reed-Sternberg cells.
• You can often see it with a lot of other inflammatory cells around it.
• The cells are usually arranged in a neat and organized way.

Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma:

• It does not have Reed-Sternberg cells at all.
• It has many different types of cells that can look mixed together.
• The patterns can be spread out or grouped together in clusters.

These differences are important. They help doctors, called pathologists, figure out which type of lymphoma a patient has.
