   • Keeping these structures in good shape can cost a lot of money, which is not always sustainable.

To help reduce these negative effects, we can try:

• Adaptive Strategies: This means using gentler methods, like letting certain areas move back naturally. This helps nature do its job.

• Integrated Coastal Zone Management (ICZM): This involves working together with different groups. The goal is to balance the needs of people and the environment.
