  3. Solids vs. Liquids:

    • Let’s compare two different materials: iron and water. Iron melts at 1538 degrees Celsius, while water melts at 0 degrees Celsius. They react differently when heat is added to them. This difference shows how the properties of materials affect their heat and temperature.
