Plato

Aristotle

• Practical Morality: Aristotle had a more hands-on view. He thought that ethics should guide the laws we make, helping people to live good and happy lives.
• Community Importance: He saw the polis, or city-state, as a community. In this community, living ethically is crucial for everyone. He believed that when people are virtuous, it creates a better society for all.

In short, both Plato and Aristotle stressed that ethics and politics go hand in hand. They believed that leaders should be virtuous to create a fair and just society.
