What Role Do Renewable Resources Play in Achieving Sustainability and Environmental Health?

Renewable resources have a lot of promise, but they also face some big challenges when it comes to being sustainable and good for the environment:

  • Reliance on technology: The new ways we use renewable energy can be expensive and use a lot of energy themselves.

  • Environmental impacts: Some renewable projects can hurt local wildlife and nature, which goes against their purpose of being eco-friendly.

  • Intermittent energy supply: Solar and wind energy depend on the weather. This means we need good ways to store this energy for when it’s not sunny or windy.

To tackle these problems, we need to invest in new technologies and make strong rules that support sustainable practices.
