Understanding Coastal Retreat: A Big Challenge

  • Rising Sea Levels: Because of climate change, the sea is getting higher. By 2100, it could rise by about 1 meter, which could flood coastal areas.

The Challenges We Face:

  • We may permanently lose homes, habitats for animals, and important buildings.

  • It’s very important to come up with smart ways to manage our coastlines.
