The Filter Model is helpful, but it also has some big problems for focused learning experiences.

Problems with Processing Information: The model says we can ignore things that don't matter. But, distractions can still come in, making it hard to focus.
Too Much Information: When there are lots of things happening around us, it can be tough to choose what to ignore. This can lead to feeling overwhelmed.
Not Flexible Enough: This model might struggle in changing learning situations, which makes it less useful in some cases.

Create training programs to help improve our ability to filter out distractions.
Use technology to make learning spaces less distracting.
