What Role Does White Balance Play in Achieving Accurate Colors in Your Photos?

White balance is really important for getting the right colors in your photos. It helps change how colors look based on the light you’re in. Here’s how it works:

  1. Types of Light: Different light sources give off different colors. For example, regular light bulbs make things look warm and yellow. Daylight, on the other hand, is cooler and has a blue tint.

  2. Camera Settings: You can change the white balance yourself, or let your camera do it automatically. If you know you’re taking pictures under yellow light, you can switch your camera to the ‘tungsten’ setting. This helps make colors look more real.

  3. How It Looks: If your white balance is set wrong, it can make colors look weird. For instance, indoor photos might make skin look too orange. Fixing the white balance can make your pictures look much more natural and nice!
