Why Are Lenses and Mirrors Integral Components of Image Formation in Cameras?

Lenses and mirrors are super important in how cameras make images. They are like the building blocks of how we take pictures. Without them, modern photography wouldn’t work at all!

Concave mirrors are very important because they can change the direction of light. In some cameras, mirrors are used to help show the image in the viewfinder or send it to the sensor.

This change in direction is based on how light reflects off the mirror. It also helps us see a bigger area in the image. The angle at which light hits the mirror can also change how clear the image looks.
