  2. Quadrant II: In this part, the xx numbers are negative, but the yy numbers are positive.
  3. Quadrant III: Both xx and yy numbers are negative in this quadrant.
  4. Quadrant IV: Here, the xx numbers are positive, but the yy numbers are negative.

A common problem students face is getting mixed up about whether the numbers are positive or negative when they plot points. For example, when they have to plot the point (3,2)(-3, -2), they might not realize it belongs in Quadrant III. This can lead to mistakes, resulting in points being in the wrong place.
